HFA Breaking News!

 

- For those following our search for Big Dog, he was found and has been brought back into the HFA adoption program!

 

- We have recently launched a new event: Saturdays Are For The Dogs. The Alaska Farmers Co-Op has graciously opened their doors to HFA to give us a place for the public to meet our available dogs looking for their forever homes.The event will occur on the first and third Saturday of the month for approximately 3 hours (11am - 2pm). We will have applications available and we will also be able to tell you more about our program and available resources.

- As a new event for HFA we have decided to kick off

Saturdays Are For The Dogs with a fundraiser.

Dog of the week

 

Halo is a 3 year old female husky/chihuahua mix. She has a lot of energy but will stop to snuggle and nap with her loved ones. She loves to be with her people and enjoys car rides. She is house trained and would love to be a family's one and only dog. ​

Cat of the week

 

Isa is a 6 year old Norwegian Forest Cat that is very affectionate and easy going. She gets along okay with cats and dogs, but would prefer a quiet and easygoing home. She uses her litterbox and will need a controlled meal plan, no free feeding for this lady.
