Heart Fur Animals

What began in 2004 as a response to an overpopulation of dogs and cats in Delta Junction has grown into so much more! Heart Fur Animals was founded for the purpose of offering low cost spay and neuter clinics. As the non-profit grew it became our mission to not only offer the spay and neuter clinics multiple times throughout the year, but to also care for the lost, found, and surrendered animals in Delta.

 

Need to spay or neuter your dog/cat? Heart Fur Animals has multiple clinics yearly. $175 on average for dogs and $75 for cats. Look for our posts and signs around town for the next one!

 

Have you found a dog or cat? Contact us and we can help you locate the animal’s owner, house the animal until it’s owner is found, or adopt the animal out to a new forever home after all search options have been exhausted.

 

Is your dog or cat lost? Contact us and we can help with an online posting of the animal’s photo, where it was last seen and any identifying information that might help you reunite with your beloved pet.

 

Do you have a dog or cat that you can no longer keep and need to surrender into the care of someone else? Contact us and we will do our best to get it into a loving home. Animals that come into our care are vaccinated, spayed/neutered and then adopted out for the cost of the vaccines and spay/neuter. We have a six page application that we use for potential adopters that help us determine the right home for the animals and we include the surrendering owner in the adoption process.

 

We are always in need of foster families for dogs and cats that come into our care and are looking to find their forever home. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a foster.
