Adoption Process

See an animal that you'd like to adopt? Or are interested in fostering-to-adopt?

 

Click on one of the animal icons to download an application. Read and fill out the application and e-mail it back to: heartfuranimalsdelta@gmail.com

Each animal receives a veterinarian wellness exam, vaccines, microchip and spay/neuter.

Adoption Fee:

​

Dog Under 1 year: $350

Dog Over 1 year: $300

Cats and Kittens: $175

Each application we receive is reviewed by an HFA volunteer and the animal's foster. Our goal is to place an animal in a home that fits their personality, behavior, and needs. An application does not guarantee an adoption.

If you are approved to adopt an HFA animal we require a meet-n-greet with all family members, even the four legged ones and the adoptable animal.

Become A Foster

Fosters allow animals to have a second chance at finding their forever homes. Fosters are crucial to the success of our rescue operations. With time, care, and patience fosters allow us to get to know an animal. This makes it easier for us to match up the animal with their ideal forever home.
